Do you know how I profit from the horse racing? Hi, I'm Ant Hobson and picking winners might seem too obvious but I'm often amazed by how many people avoid easy wins because the price is too short, or they turn on their gut because its a bit of a long shot or they don't trust their research and its a competitive field so they leave it, only to regret it after the fact.... and those are the tipsters who can actually pick winners and don't. There's way more who can't pick them but the less said about them the better. So, how do I pick MY winners? Well it's not just a single method, I don't just follow a system, I don't just use research, speed ratings and form. I use a whole mix of methods to pick winners. Lets look at a few... First off there's the Research Method, I look at form, race results over the same distance and at the same course, with the same jockey riding, over the same going (conditions) and a number of other stats. The research method again isn't one shoe fits all approach. The method changes depending on if we're talking turf racing, all weather racing or jump racing. It changes depending on the weather especially if there are extreme's. Next up there's my Ones To Watch Method. I watch a lot of racing and there are races when horses don't win but often catch my eye, a strong finish, loads of stamina at the end of the race, mark it down, watch out for it going up in distance or the reverse, a horse looks like its going to win but can't keep it up over the final half furlong, watch for when the horse is doing down in trip. There are loads of things I look for and mark down and when the criteria for these horses aligns I make my picks. There's a whole host of ways I pick my winners as you can see and these are methods I've developed and fine tuned over many years. Does this mean I win every bet? Not even close. I win less than 50% of my bets but I do bet at ALL odds. Do I back favourites? Yes I don't turn down a winner or a horse that I think is going to win based on odds. Obviously strike rate is higher on the lower odds horses and lower on the higher odds horses. A 20% win rate at 50/1 and above would be lovely but it's never going to happen. So how do I make the most out of my bets? Over the years I've tried many methods but I've fallen in love with the multiples and my choice is the Lucky 31... 31 small bets across 5 selections. It means small stakes can return huge profits. More chances to win and with every winner picked the returns get bigger and bigger. Take a look at the returns I've had from bets over the last 2 weeks. This will give you an idea of what to expect from my service:
